The history of this Community started on June 16th, 2004, when a Divine Liturgy service was held for the first time in the Ice House, Grimsby. Over the next five years, thanks to the hospitality of various churches, the Community grew, and with each change of venue, was able to make their place of worship more fitting to the Orthodox Christian tradition. But a truly Orthodox permanent home, was badly needed. So it was with prayerful gratitude that the Priest, Fr Michael, was  led to the South Chapel in Scartho Road Cemetery, where he met and was helped by numerous people to the point where an agreement was signed to use this beautiful, but sadly neglected building. The gallery of pictures will give you some idea of this unfolding story. Thanks be to God for all things!
